decent stay with some issues
sticky vinyl old room
the room i got was supposedly a 'superior double or twin room'. honestly it felt anything but. there were several chips on the woodwork and the bathroom floor had sticky vinyl that had risen. it was quite unacceptable for the price i paid the room was old and tired

the breakfast selection included both cereals and fruit a varied menu featured cooked items prepared to order i appreciated the large comfortable room the staff were friendly and helpful the evening meal in the bar next door was very good i had no issues with service. the location was peaceful yet accessible the cottage provided ample space and necessary equipment accessing the bar and restaurant proved convenient. the staff showed helpfulness especially roddy the breakfast service was superb a lady was very kind. the hotel setting has charm.

I liked the friendly, helpful staff. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs. the price was reasonable for perthshire during peak season. i also loved that i could bring my dog. the food was delicious. We had both dinner and breakfast.

The breakfast had a good selection of food items available.
The room decor felt dated and needed updating. The pub was not very inviting, it lacked a good atmosphere. Customer service was not great as some staff were unfriendly.

clean cottage modern bathroom
the cottage was spacious and clean. the kitchen and bathroom seemed modern. the living room allowed for comfortable relaxation (a great bonus!).
the menu had a nice look but my venison casserole lacked flavor. my wife could not cut her meat. the staff offered an apology.

dirty bathroom old mixer tap
The location was reasonably quiet and offered some peace.
Our room needed significant updating. The bathroom had black dirt around the taps. The shower featured an old mixer tap. I found the lack of attention to cleanliness disappointing.
